Support for families 

The school is aware that the cost of living crisis is impacting many families in Worcestershire and we aim to support our pupils and their families where we can.  There are a number of organisations offering help:

Malvern Food Bank

Madresfield is a referral agency for the food bank, which allows us to issue vouchers directly to parents in need. You can contact Mrs Harriet Thomas via Class Dojo or the school office to request support.

Malvern Food Bank Spring Lane opening times:

  • Monday 10.15am-12.45pm
  • Tuesday 1pm-3.30pm
  • Thursday 10.15am-12.45pm

Food Pantry's and Community Fridges in Malvern

There are a number of community fridges in Malvern who are able to support local families:

Octagon Centre, Brook Farm Drive, Malvern, WR14 3SQ

The Octagon Centre | Community Centre | Malvern, UK

The Octagon Centre operates a community pantry every Friday 9:30 - 11am.  In addition they have a community kitchen, youth club and the Thursday Project to support local families. Details on their website.

St Mary's Church, Sherrards Green Road, Malvern, WR14 2EE

St Mary's Church redistribute collected surplus food to the local community, they are open Thursday and Friday mornings throughout the year from 9-12pm. All welcome. Free of charge.

Their Community Fridge is open on Mondays 10:30 -12pm and Wednesdays 3:30-4pm.
