Worcestershire Virtual School Games
On Monday 1st June the Worcestershire Virtual School Games Activity Village opens to all schools across Worcestershire.
This is a great opportunity to give all pupils a taste of competition and an opportunity to represent their school in the process and feel part of a school team. All participants will receive an e-certificate, and there will be prizes for the primary and secondary school with the highest number of entries.
The Activity Village will be open for 4 weeks and will consist of a variety of virtual challenges. These virtual events will culminate in the Worcestershire Virtual School Games Week taking place between Monday 6th - Friday 10th July during which results will be announced and highlights shared.
Details of all challenges are available to download via www.activehw.co.uk/worcestershire-school-games.

Sustrans Outside In
Sustrans has launched Sustrans Outside In, a free resource to help parents who are looking after their children at home. Walking, cycling and scooting are great ways to keep active and healthy in body and mind but, during this time where we are mostly required to stay at home, these activities become harder to do. Sustrans Outside In provides fun ideas and inspiration for parents to bring education, health and wellbeing activities into their home.Parents can access resources by registering for their free parent newsletter. Over four weeks, you'll receive weekly videos, themed activities, games and challenges designed by their experienced school officers.

Zumba/Mini disco with Jasmine
Jasmine Sheringham, who worked in school as a TA, is doing online "Mini Disco" every Friday at 5pm and it's similar to her Kid's Zumba sessions that the kids at Madresfield have done before. It's purely for fun, to try and spread some joy and happiness and everyone is welcome to join her for some dancing, games, fun and madness!
