Field Studies Council Primary resources
The Fields Studies Council (FSC) has collated a whole host of useful FSC resources to help support pupils whilst they are learning from home. Their primary resources are based on activites children can do in their gardens or local green space which focus on geography and science to help them keep connected to nature.
Last Spring the FSC launched and delivered #FieldworkLive, a two-week programme of live fieldwork sessions focusing on a range of Geography and Science content. Recordings of the live lessons are available here:
Royal Society of Biology, Science at Home Festival
The Royal Society of Biology launched their first ever online science festival, bringing a range of videos and activities straight to your computer screen to entertain and engage. The FSC contributed a number of exciting videos which can still be accessed by following the links below:
The FSC has created some simple nature based activities for children, to help them learn while also having fun.
Their Outdoor Hub is free to everyone and packed full of literally hundreds of step-by-step, photo-illustrated activities. You don't have to be out in an amazing Forest School or woodland setting, most of the activities can be done at home in a yard or garden, many of them can be adapted and done indoors
